Getting The Best Out Of NAC-AEP Seminar (4th Run)
The fourth run of the Getting The Best Out of NAC-AEP Seminar on 26 April 2016 was facilitated by Peggy Ferroa and Serene Chen with a new format that featured a segment by a guest teaching artist and school teacher as well as a new facilitator’s guide. 24 participants who were a mix of both primary and secondary school teachers attended and found the sharing informative, insightful and motivating. The Getting The Best Out of NAC-AEP Seminar guides teachers on selecting appropriate NAC Arts Education Programmes (NAC- AEP) in line with school's objectives, student profiles, desired outcomes and budget.
Feedback
The sharing by Teck Whye and O School was great and inspiring.
The seminar seems to be more applicable for new schools trying the engage artists for their school programmes.
I think the checklist of how to choose artist is useful.
There should be a platform for schools to review programmes they have engaged so that other schools could have an idea of the quality provided by the artist.
