Getting the best out of AEP
NAC-AEP Seminar facilitated by SDEA Team and supported by NAC-AEP Arts Education Team
Singapore Drama Educators Association (SDEA) and National Arts Council (NAC) have co-designed a programme, “Getting the Best out of Arts Education Programmes (AEP)” for teachers who plan and purchase NAC-AEP Arts Education Programmes for their students. This programme helps teachers to make informed choices when selecting appropriate arts programmes across different art forms (dance, drama, music, literary and visual arts) that are suitable for their students’ needs.
This programme is currently open to all Primary and Secondary School as well as Junior College Aesthetic Heads of Department (HODs), Subject / Level Heads and Arts Coordinators.
In this 3-hour seminar conducted by arts practitioners and educators from SDEA, participants will delve into and explore further how the different types of NAC-AEP (Exposure, Experience, Excursion) can meet the needs of both students and teachers, as well as the common challenges teachers face when selecting the arts programmes. Through discussions and hands-on activities, the session will give you insights to getting a richer learning experience with NAC-AEP.
